This edition was published by the London Philatelic Society in 1887.
In the season of 1881-1882 years, the Philatelic Society began preparing the Australian Continent Stamp Lists and included in its subsequent work those of the British colonies, collectively designated Oceania.
The following pages contain the results of their research.
The lists were compiled up to the end of 1886.
Collectors will find in the wonderful illustrations a complete series of whole plates that, from their absolute precision to the smallest detail, will allow them to recreate their own plates and will be of great help in detecting fraud.
