This short book on the Navy in general will focus primarily on the human element and the profound knowledge that comes from living aboard a warship. The first chapter provides a brief historical outline of the British Navy. The second chapter is devoted to the Admiralty and its duties. The Navy is managed by the Admiralty Collegium. The third chapter is devoted to naval discipline. Nothing in the navy changed in the ten years before 1914 like the discipline system.
