Cambridge Greek Testament for Schools and Colleges: The Pastoral Epistles

This book is designed to help you study the Greek Testament in schools and colleges. This book focuses on the Pastoral Epistles, which are a group of three books of the canonical New Testament: First Epistle to Timothy, Second Epistle to Timothy, and Epistle to Titus. They are presented as the letters of the Apostle Paul to Timothy and Titus. The book covers such chapters as: The Literary History of the Pastoral Epistles; The Place of the Pastoral Epistles in St Paul's Life; The Style and Vocabulary of the Рastoral Epistles; The Heresies contemplated in the Pastoral Epistles; Bishops and Presbyters in the Primitive Church. All three Pastoral Epistles are in Greek, followed by explanatory notes and comments. In the Commentaries, an attempt was made to explain the use of words and construction methods, as well as to provide significant assistance to the student in the interpretation and illustration of the text.
