Edna St. Vincent Millay was an American poet and playwright, the third woman to receive the Pulitzer Prize for poetry, one of the most famous poets of the USA of the 20th century. This little book presents some of Millay's early poems. As with most collections, poetic appeal depends on the poems. This collection, originally published in 1920, was expanded upon reprint in 1922. This book is a 1922 edition. The collection "A Few Figs from Thistle", after publication, caused controversy over feminism and exploration of female sexuality.
