The natural weakness of judgment, which since ancient times has been attributed (rightly or wrongly) to women, deprives them of the opportunity to occupy many honorable and worthy positions. We find that this took place within the framework of Roman law, and their failure in this regard persisted in all subsequent systems of jurisprudence. Moreover, the physical difference that exists between men and women has made the latter special targets of certain forms of crime. But the differing status of women in law, at least in England, which is of greatest practical importance, stems from the doctrine of common law in relation to cover. The purpose of this book, without considering this topic in any way from a controversial point of view, is to describe a law that especially affects women. The author has consistently sought to cite at least one authoritative source for every provision of the law he established, and trying to do so required him to read over 100 cases and therefore took a long time. The author hoped that this little book might be useful for the profession to which he is honored to belong.
