The land of veiled women – is a travelogue which was published in 1913 and written by John Foster Fraser. He was a Scottish author and travel writer. He also traveled around the world by bicycle. This book describes his travels in North Africa, especially Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco. Starting with Algeria, or rather Bou-Saada, a city in its north, he leads his story about this amazing country and what he saw there. He describes both the landscapes and splendor, as well as how the local people live there, their customs and entertainment. After Algeria, he continues his journey to Tunisia and then to Morocco. This book also includes 4 illustrations.
