Book description
This book is a history of Gilmanton - a town in Belknap County, New Hampshire, United States.
This work is a history of the town, collected from the facts obtained from various sources, both written and oral.
Traditional and oral testimony of eyewitnesses has been used only in cases where written documents have been not verified.
The materials for this book have been collected by the author for 20 years.
The biographical notes freely used the facts recorded in these works, and sometimes the language itself was used in an abbreviated or modified form.
In Private and Civil History, the language of the record was also often used to express the course of events, since it was both the most convenient and the most suitable for the purpose that the author had in mind, namely, a plain narrative of facts.
The genealogical history of the city in this book is much more limited than the author originally intended.
The dates of births and marriages in different families are largely omitted, and in many families they are omitted altogether.
This became necessary due to the limited patronage of this work.
The map prepared to accompany this work will be an interesting and valuable addition.

I have always been pleased with the service of Trieste Publishing I have received when dealing with your department. However, the professionalism I experienced yesterday exceeded my expectations.
