The book of fables and folk stories

The purpose of the illustrated edition of Fables and Folk Stories was to make the book more attractive and simple enough to appeal to a younger class of readers. Children in their second year of school can read well and enjoy these stories that have stood the test of centuries. In the first place were put the lighter and more familiar of these tales; those with more extensive and complex vocabulary - later. It is hoped that thanks to such an assessment of the material, the book can be successfully used one academic year earlier than the publication from which it was made. The language of the author has been preserved as far as possible. To help teachers prepare their work, lists of words that are unlikely to be found in first graders have been added. When used judiciously before reading the lesson, none of the stories will cause significant trouble for second graders. This book contains famous fairy tales such as: Little Red-Riding-Hood; The Goose that Laid Golden Eggs; Cinderella, or the Glass Slipper; Beauty and the Beast and many others.
