Russian Foreign Policy in the East

Russian foreign policy in the East – is a monograph which was published in 1916 and written by Milivoy Stoyan Stanoyevich, a Serbian-American university professor, author of several books and essayist. Anyone who has carefully considered the past and present of historical phenomena can certainly judge and draw conclusions about future political problems. To understand common European politics, one must study the history of Eastern Europe, namely the history of Russia. To understand Russian European history, one needs to have a close acquaintance with Russian diplomatic activities in Asia, especially in Far Asia. The purpose of this brief essay is to outline Russia's foreign policy in the East from the early 19th century to the present day. A student of political issues who wants to fully understand Russian and European politics, which in the last tragic days was written not with the pen, but with the blood of our brothers and fathers, cannot find sufficient data to read on the following pages. If such a student wants to receive more detailed and authoritative information about the domestic and foreign policy of Russia from primary sources and books, he is advised to familiarize himself with the documents and general works that are listed in the bibliography at the end of this monograph. This book is divided into four chapters such as: Russia in the Near East; Russia in the Middle East; Russia in the Far East; Russian Policy after the Japanese War.
