Ontario high school chemistry; Pupils' text - book

This book is published in two parts in accordance with currently accepted pedagogical practices, namely: To give students the opportunity to gain knowledge of chemistry while doing chemistry. This book assumes that the students studied elementary physics; and work that would have been a repetition of what had previously been done was omitted. It is also taken for granted that there will be an instructor who is able to lead the study, delve into important points, focus where necessary, and fill in the details he deems necessary. The textbook is useful as a guide to work, as it saves time for both masters and students at the expense of the system and sealing; but it is not a treatise that contains everything that is known about the subject. This textbook consists of forty-nine chapters, including a table of chemical elements.
