How to be a lady – is a guidebook which is for girls with useful hints on the formation of character. The Young Lady's Guide was intended for a class of women who had reached a certain degree of maturity of character and who were supposed to have already started a religious life. The success of this work prompted the author to think for several years about preparing another one for a younger class of women. With daughters of his own and many years as a youth writer, he hopes that in the following pages he will be able to provide some good fun tips for girls and girls between the ages of eight and fifteen. Its purpose is to help them shape their character according to the best model; so that they can become well-mannered, intelligent, sophisticated and good; and then they will be LADIES in the highest sense of the word. This book essentially covers the same topic as the other, work for boys, released at the same time. Some parts of both are identical; while the other parts are completely different. If this is a means to benefit one immortal mind, the Author will be richly rewarded.
