German Philosophy and Politics

German philosophy and politics – there are printed lectures which were written and delivered by John Dewey and published in 1915. John Dewey was an American philosopher and teacher, representative of the philosophical direction of pragmatism. He was an author of more than 30 books and 900 scientific articles on philosophy, aesthetics, sociology, pedagogy and other disciplines. Also he was a Professor of Philosophy in Columbia University. During World War II, Dewey opposed the ideology of Nazism, in particular, against the violence against pedagogy in the Third Reich. This book contains three lectures: German Philosophy: The Two Worlds; German Moral and Political Philosophy; The Germanic Philosophy of History. They were given in February 1915.
