About the Book

The following list is a continuation of the "Service of British Officers in America, 1754-1774" and prepared according to the same plan. Since it is intended to be used as a checklist, every effort has been made to make it complete and complete, leaving it to other hands to compile reports on the various officers. An asterisk marks those officers who served in America between 1754 and 1774, and their records up to 1774 can be found from an earlier list.
