Mary Hazelton Wade

Mary Hazelton Blanchard Wade (1860 to 1936) was an American author who was born Mary Hazelton Blanchard in Charlestown, Mass.. She was first educated at high school in Malden and received further education through private tutors. In 1877 she began teaching and on November 14, 1882, married Louis Francis Wade. She was a prolific author of children's fiction.
