John Henry Hopkins

John Henry Hopkins (1792 to 1868) was the first bishop of Episcopal Diocese of Vermont who became the eighth Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church in the US. A polymath, he was also an artist, lawyer, ironmonger, a musician, a composer and an architect who introduced Gothic architecture into the US.
