Irving Fisher

Irving Fisher (1867 to 1947) was a US economist, statistician, inventor, and a campaigner for social progress. He was one of the earliest American neoclassical economists and proposer of the "Fisher Relation". However Fisher's later work on debt deflation has been embraced by the post-Keynesian school.
