Hollis Godfrey
Hollis Godfrey (1874 - January 17, 1936) was an American writer, teacher, technical consultant, and president of the Drexel Institute for the Arts, Science, and Industry. Hollis Godfrey was born in 1874 in Lynn, Massachusetts. He was educated at Tufts College and Harvard University with an engineering degree. He continued to earn a doctorate. in engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1889. After the end of the school year, Godfrey stayed to teach at his alma mater, Massachusetts Institute of Technology. From 1906 to 1910, Godfrey was the research administrator at the Graduate School of Practical Arts for Girls in Boston.
