George MacDonald

George MacDonald (10 December 1824 to 18 September 1905) was a Scottish Christian minister who was also an author and poet. He became a pioneer and leader in the field of modern fantasy literature and mentored Lewis Carroll. In addition to his popular fairy tales, MacDonald authored a number of books on Christian apologetics.
