This book is one of the most famous Robinson's work and was a bestseller, introducing a generation of readers to the intellectual world of higher education. James Harvey Robinson argues that freedom of thought is essential for progress. This book is an essay by the author on the most important of all issues of concern to a person. For the author, it took a lot of work and thought, but in his estimation, it is much lower than the requirements of this inexorably topical topic. Each page of this book could easily be expanded into volume.
