Book description

METANOIA - is a Greek word, which bears the sublime burden of the initial proclamation of the gospel. It represents the first utterance of John the Baptist as the herald of Jesus Christ and the first utterance of Jesus Christ as the herald of the Kingdom of God. This was their call to humanity, preceding the proclamation of the approaching power, a revelation that was at hand. If we return to the image contained in the words "proclamation", "herald", then the image implied in the narrative was the sound of a trumpet outside the walls and a call from the messenger to open the gate. The main purpose of this essay was to draw attention to a word, the great potential of meaning of which, was a truer and more Catholic, and more popular presentation of the word, a more spiritual and more philosophical interpretation of Christianity.
