Book description

Tenting To-Night - is a book, which was published in 1918 and written by Mary Roberts Rinehart, an American writer. Rinehart often called the American Agatha Christie This is Rinehart's travel diary of a trip through Glacier National Park with her family and quite a large retinue of guides, cooks, packers and photographers. This was published in 1918 when the national parks and forests were still new and mostly intact. Travelers had to carry everything needed to make this trek through the American Northwest, using a string of horses and a carriage to guide five members of the Rinehart family. Surprising considering their difficulties. This book is written in a different style than its mysteries, Rinehart makes sly jokes and has a good sense of humor, making you feel the horrors of the journey.
