Tales From Greek Mythology – is a book which was published in 1863 and written by George William Cox, English historian, specialist mainly in comparative mythology. The following tales of Greek mythology were written for very young children. The versions of Greek legends presented by recent writers are expressed in language that would be difficult and sometimes impossible for a child to understand. Real stories are intended both for children who are too young to read them, and for those who are somewhat older, although, perhaps, they may be interesting even for those whose childhood is long gone.
