Book description

What is Social Case Work? – is a work written by Mary Ellen Richmond, an American social work pioneer. This book is Mary Richmond's second major publication. This work was published in 1922. In this book, she presented a “learning from cases” methodology. She provided detailed comments on six detailed case studies. New was her appeal to touch upon the psychological elements as well. However, at first there was open and honest communication with clients without burdening formalities. Improving customer resilience is a natural component of this approach. Mary Richmond's call to involve clients in solving their problems continues to inspire even a century later.
