Just folks – is a collection of poems published in 1917 and written by Edgar Albert Guest. Edgar Albert Guest was an American poet of British descent. He became known as the People's Poet because his poems often contained an inspiring and optimistic outlook on everyday life. Edgar Albert Guest became the Michigan Poet Laureate, the only poet to be awarded this title. This little book is full of cozy, sweet, homely and humorous poems about everyday things. The collection contains above 120 poems of this prominent author.
