Heroes of our Indian Empire - is a two-volume book published in 1908 and written by Henry Morris, of the Indian Civil Service. This book is the second volume. The topic of English rule in India is very relevant. The best answer to those who do not appreciate it is to point out the lives and deeds of the people who have done the most for the well-being and happiness of the Indian people. The following pages show what the British have done for this country. They gave it their life and their love. This work was written in a clear and simple style suitable for readers unfamiliar with India in the hope that they may be interested in its fascinating history. For this reason, as far as possible, the use of purely Indian words and phrases has been avoided and the nearest English equivalents have been used instead. It also presented brief recollections of people who, in another capacity, worked for the benefit of India. Memories of all of them are fragrant on earth, and their lives should encourage young ministers to imitate their example. It should be noted that all these Heroes of the Indian Empire were distinguished by their love for the people and sympathy for them. The turmoil in India at that time was largely due to the erroneous statements of ignorant people in England. It was considered that those who have extensive experience in this country and have seen many people in their official capacity value them the most.
