Communion with God, or A Guide to the Devotional

Robert Philip's “Guide to the Perplexed”, with God's blessing proving guidance to many, is encouraged to reach out to Prayers who suspect that their prayers for mercy and grace are unanswered. The author saw with some surprise and great sadness that many believers seem to forget that the promises of God to those who pray are, when applied to the heart by the Holy Spirit, real answers to all prayers for spiritual blessings. The connection between fervent prayer and saving faith, according to the author, is also not as familiar to those praying as it should be. And, since mistakes in these and similar points cannot but interrupt communication with God, the Author dares to offer the following simple hints, “to all that, in every place, call upon the name of Jesus Christ”.
