Book description
This book is the second volume of “Across the Zodiac: The Story of a Wrecked Record” - the sci-fi novel by Percy Greg, who is considered the creator of the science fiction subgenre of swords and planets.
Two volumes of this novel were published in 1880.
The book details the creation and use of apergy, a form of anti-gravitational energy, and details the flight to Mars in 1830.
The planet is inhabited by miniature creatures who are convinced that life does not exist anywhere else but their world and refuse to believe that the unnamed narrator is actually from Earth.
The narrator of this book calls his spacecraft the Astronaut.
